Stuff Disappearing?

I ran to the cornacopia and got stuff. When I went to put the armour I got from the corn it disappeared! Is this a hackers fault or a bug? It happens to me a lot.

That happens when multiple tributes try to get stuff out of 1 chest.. first the server gives it to you.. but will be put to the other tribute because of the lag.. the lag causes the server to think you got the stuff first.. but maybe the other tribute was faster.. but the items did show up in your chest, so the items will be transferred to the player who was the fastest

I did shift clicking and was the first one to the chest though....

its just a matter of seconds who's first.. most of the time multiple people are raiding chests at 1 moment.. maybe you where first.. but someone could have been right behind you..

Not always, sometime I believe it glitches because once I got some items from corn and ran away. They then glitched away, then later that game before refill I went back and they were sitting in the chest I found them originally in.

it happens to me every single game even if im the only one at the chest i don't even bother to try anymore its ridiculous, something needs to be done to patch this

This is a Bukkit/Minecraft problem, not an MCSG problem. Just hope for the best when you get to a chest (that wasn't supposed to rhyme, but hey).
