Hey, so I'm ordering a new PC in a few days, just got told my budget could be increased by $500 (to $2000).
This is my current build:

I've gotten a $700 graphics card which I think is a bit overkill. Will everything else be able to handle it?
Also, what else could I do better on? I've got $200 on my budget, and I want to make the most of the opportunity I have.

Any help is appreciated :)

Why do you need a $700 graphics card? That's a total waste of money. Buy a Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 2GB for $250. It's a good graphics card. Everything else seems fine.

Erisyuka we need your halp.
But I think with that budget, you can upgrade to an i7. That graphics card is a bit overkill ;p

Modified it a bit to what I want (Different ram, Fancier case, Cheaper cooler).

What i7 would I get? They seem a bit more expensive so I don't know which one.

What games are you going to play? Minecraft is CPU intensive, but most other games are graphically intensive. If you're playing Minecraft $1000 on a computer is fine, just upgrade as you go along with the rest of the money.

The i5 that I have shown you should be fine for Minecraft there is no need for an i7 unless you are doing intense video editing or something

I'm not sure, but you can read this article for a comparison between the two processors:

Well he does have a decent budget, so he could upgrade if he wanted to.
