Look, I'm really upset about this, most of the MCSG community agrees that they don't like the new voting system so why not change it back? Non voted maps were given a chance, I'm not saying they are terrible maps but people don't like them that's all. It is very confusing to the community, I have seen people say "Who the f*** voted for this map?" It's frustrating too see the people who do now know of the website confused and struggling, at the end of the day it should be the community's choice of witch map they get to play NOT the severs'. Also what makes you think that making people a map they don't like will make them suddenly like it? It's just absurd and instead of making us play maps the people don't like why not remove it? I mean what's the point of having a map none likes or none will ever vote for.

Disagree.

While many just want to play the same maps, there was an aspect almost nobody picked on, the good parts of an underplayed map. Despite how many people want to play a certain map, they need to remember these other maps.

Another thing I'd like to bring up, it makes the games a bit more difficult (the way the game is meant to be). Most people, probably don't have a route on every single map, thus naming Tier 2's difficult to find. This will make it seem as one of the best ways to get decent armour, weaponry, and hence forth, would be to kill a tribute, making the game more action packed, and DM less bias (talking about hackers, teams, and tryhards in DM).

This idea was originally created by BitoBain, which caught a lot of people's attention (if I can recall, nobody actually disliked it). Now, if this idea wasn't created, imagine the possible scenarios if we were stuck with the classic system. Everything could've been fine for the majority, however, there is a small group of people who absolutely adore underplayed maps(just like me and Fortune Island shortly after realese). This new system saved many from a bad time with maps on this server. Be thankful we have this, for some of our favorite players could slowly lose interest, and eventually leave.

In conclusion, the system may be hated, but I believe that this system does have its good uses, that I believe the community will see soon. If they don't, I feel like it'll be adaptable after a bit of time, considering the new process is fairly new.

Yes, if you check the polls you could see that the majority of people dislike it, and fine if what your saying is true and they aren't changing it then why have the polls if none is going to do anything about it, at least in this case? And no, I disagree, if someone doesn't like a map then making them play it even more often will just make them hate it even more not suddenly love it. Also, if people weren't meant to get stacked with good items in a game then why does MCSG have tier 2's in the first place if they aren't meant to be found? I mean sooner or later people are going to discover the tier 2's in the maps barely played then what then? I mean I do understand that people love maps that are barely played, like Avaricia witch is one of my fav maps so I'm not saying completely remove maps that are barely played but the servers should do something about it because it's unfair for people.

This can actually vary, depending on the personality and adaptability of the player, so neither of us can be sure of it.

I say we should give it some time, it's a fairly new implementation and I don't think many of us have gotten used to it yet.

Wow wow wow wow calm down dude, I say we start a poll and see how many people actually don't like it or like. Or just don't care either way. If the majority doesn't like it, change it back. If the majority does like it, keep it c:.

There already is a poll in-game, but we should give it more time. I bet a lot of the "no" responses were based purely on the fact that the map they wanted didn't get voted. It may be a beneficial system in the long run, but we would have to give it time.

It is beneficial, not many of the people who are non-donors can get the maps they want hardly ever. Mostly because of the donors who take all the votes up xD. That could be one good thing from it.

Yeah, but people were probably upset when a map they didn't like was voted in. It could work in your favour sometimes, sometimes not. There's no real system that could please everyone, so I think this is the closest we can get.
