You know I am even banned on mcsg and this still bugs the crap out of me (I watch alot of yt) and I hate how the Dev's work on something and never finish it..

I am not bringing hate to them or saying they are lazy! They do a great job at their work but they start new things before they finish others! Like ZedChase etc there is no reason for that not to be added.. And all these maps where they where too OP and got removed because they where working on new things and didnt have time to remove the items and re upload the map.

My point is I think the devs need to stop what they are doing.. Go finish all of the unfinished bugs etc first then complete stuff 1 at a time. In almost every mcsg video there is a complaint about how there is a bug that was never fixed etc.. It needs to be done 1 at a time. Just drop what they are doing now and do the bugs..

This is not made to start a flame war so please just state your opinion say things like

"Yea I feel the same man"
or
"I kinda dis agree I think thats its for the better"

Not

"Dude wtf the devs do a great job and you wish you could do as good as them gtfo and stop hating"

You were banned? Oh. Was it the DDoS "rumors"? (Just curious, you don't have to answer.)
They know what they're doing, and they do have a long list of things to do. The Developers are experienced Coders, and having worked on MCSG for a lot of time, they know what works best. They don't tell us how to PvP, which is what we do best, so we shouldn't tell them how to code, which is what they do best.
There are bugs, yes. But their job is not only to keep MCSG running, as bug-free, and efficient as possible, but also they are tasked with implementing the features that keep this gametype new and fresh. Features that keep attracting people, and staying ahead of the competition, such as where bees live and that thing that you have to break in League of Legends. Without new features and fixing or removing things that don't work or aren't "pleasing" to the playerbase, MCSG would quickly run downhill. It's not as simple as you might be trying to put it. Bugs and features must be worked on side-by-side. I was going to try to make a diagram, but it didn't really work out.

MCTF2 is currently halted because the head developer on that project has left MCGamer.

Keep in mind, that's 2 weeks of our core - that does not include gametypes.

Contrary to popular belief, we do more than twiddle our thumbs. However, like most people, we have commitments outside of this community (which would explain some of the gaps in dates in the above commit history). As stated time and time again, there's only one active plugin developer right now, and that's me. kpwn243 is quite active as well, but he mostly deals with web development. As much as I'd love to drop out of school and dedicate all my time here (not really, dropping out of school is a pretty stupid idea. Stay in school, kids!), that's not exactly feasible. This is the main explanation for any projects we have that are not finished, development wise.

Map wise, as developers, we don't even deal with map issues...

As AriSocrates said, MCTF2 development is currently at a standstill (due to the project lead, mooman219, leaving the team) while ChadTheDJ attempts to find new, competent developers to join the team. As for ZedChase development, delays have certainly happened, mostly due to me (the project lead) being busy with either maintaining and fixing bugs in Survival Games (hmm... sounds a bit like OP, doesn't it) or being busy with real life/schoolwork.

By the way, we do development livestreams on a regular basis now. Check them out sometime; they prove that we do things!
