Hello everyone, today I will talk to you about one of the best weapons in the survival games. The Bow.
Some of you may remember when I was a god with this item, they used to call me the bow master. Some didn't know how i did it, but I used to never ever miss a shot. This helped become king of mcswish.

The Bow. An underestimated weapon beyond belief. Some think that it is only useful for long range shots, but I disagree. A bow shot can change the course of a clan war, a bow shot can win you a 1v1, and finally a bow shot, can kill you. Knowing how to place and when to shoot is key to your survival.

The first bow strategy I would like to talk about is the one I originally mastered. I call this the movement bow strategy, and like its title it is just that. This works wonders in a 1v1, and isn't too effective in clan combat, but will work out. The main thing to remember is someones movement after shooting a bow, especially making sure that you remember the universal movement while someone charges (usually you shoot a bow 1 block right, then 1 left, then 1 right, 1 left again, etc.) This if used correctly can get someone in a bow lock, and if you are good enough, you can continue to bow spam until they die. Another strategy is to start the bow lock and then move in for a fishing pole- sword combo. I've beaten people with 10 block reach (whether ping or hacks) on pvp servers just by keeping them in a bow lock. Just by knowing their movement after bow shots will also ensure you more hits on them during a bow fight, and yet again it is your choice on whether or not to move in or keep bow spamming.

The second bow strategy is the most obvious and overused one (which is why I prefer to not use it). This is the simple Aiming strategy. All you have to do is aim at the person, which sounds easy but yet again, you must know their movement if they run away, so always keep that in mind. But this strategy mainly works wonders and randoms and people that don't pay attention. If you use this and it works for you, keep doing it!

The third bow strategy (another personal favorite) and my final one (that im telling the public (I have my secrets...)) is the one that we call the Bow Rod. This isn't used as much as it should because of lack of arrows in a game, but when used right is devastating. The point of this strategy is to shoot someone with your bow, giving them a quick knockback, and strafing (without jumping) to get at least 2 hits. After this I would suggest backing out, because personally I don't like going in with my sword too much, but if you want to you can. The point of this strategy is that the small amount of knockback the bow creates (that the fishing pole also creates) does damage (unlike the fishing rod), and after 2 hits it could drop someone in full iron. This strategy is also helpful when you don't have a fishing rod. In team fights this may come in handy if the group splits up, but in large team fights it wont work.

I will post more strategies to dodge bow shots and how to make long range shots will be put in later. Thank you for reading this.

You were a "God" with a bow? Must have missed that...
Some may not think it, and I really could care less. I wanted people to get better with a bow, and yes, at one point of time (you can ask a lot of people) I couldn't be killed because I was a "God" with a bow.

I rarely win without a bow. I am terrible at sword PvP, and the effective use of my bow usually swings the fight in my favour. Definitely underrated.
