Low Mac FPS

I have a good IMac but i only get about 30 FPS with Optifine. Anyone know and good ways to boost your FPS because Graser has an IMac and gets about 160 when recording. I know this seems kind of noobish but i can't think of anything.
Edit: I also have FPS boosting settings.

Graser has a beast mac that costs a lot of money. You probably have one of the low ends. I suggest getting a higher end mac or windows or possibly build a cpu by yourself.

If you have all your settings up to max, then that's normal for a mac.

Actually i have a super fast, custom built few thousand dollar Mac. It's just not built to game.

If you have all your settings up to max, then that's normal for a mac.

Like set the settings that would make a PC lag?

My Mac gets 200+ settings on lowest settings. About 30 on highest.

How about put it in the middle and get 100 After 100 fps there really isn't any difference in my opinion.

Uhh your 256 mb is very less....not enough to get a lot of fps when on high. I suggest getting a new GPU that has 1 or 2 gigs of dedicated memory.
