I don't know if anyone has brought this up, but is a mod that lets you bind sprint to a key allowed? I don't really like how I have to double tap w in Minecraft where in every single other game sprint is bound to a key.

You can do that without mods, just switch up your controls. If you're talking about a button you push to toggle sprint, then no, that's not allowed.

Sure you can use spoutcraft, just not the features (Mini-map, auto-packs)

It would be hilarious if Mojang realises SpoutCraft and adapts most of its feature to Vanilla xD

I wasn't talking about toggling sprint or auto-sprint, I was talking about holding down a button to sprint, like in other games. For example, I would hold down left shift to sprint, and then release it to stop sprinting.
Besides, how would I do it by switching up the controls?
