Where are the U.S. servers located?

I'm a U.S. player, and I still get 120+ ping to the U.S. servers, and I'm wondering if it is due to the location of the servers, or something else. Could anyone tell me where they are? And if they are near the edge of the country, why the servers aren't near the center so everyone only gets <80 ping?

The US Servers are located in Phoenix, Arizona.
