How do you get vip? Do you apply for it or do you donate for it

You need to apply, 20k subs or build a map (I think it has been changed in v2.) But you can NOT donate for it.

Answer: To get VIP, you must be considered very important to the success of the servers. You could do this by, helping out the servers drastically by building a map, gathering publicity for the community, etc.
If you record yourself playing on MCGamer and post it on your YouTube channel and have 20,000+ subscribers, you can apply for VIP here: http://vip.mcgamer.info
