VIP vs Friend rank: Why should both be equally the same?

Friend rank:
1) Pink name
2) 2 votes
3) Given to important people, specially to moderators and friends with administrators.
4) Very similar to VIP
5) No Silent join

VIP:
1)Purple name
2) 3 Votes
3) Given to map makers and Youtubers, important people also.
4) Very similar to friend.
5) Silent join

See?
There is barely any difference, just VIP has silent join and friend rank doesn't. Now, imagine VIP's without silent join, just as before.... people will get targeted so much. Well, this problem is happening to people with friend rank.

My suggestion is to give friend ranks silent join, or better make both ranks, friend and VIP, have the same perks. Personally, I think friend rank and VIP are two different ranks for two different types of Important people, but since both kind of people are important, and mostly get targeted for the ranks being very similar, why not give both the same perks?

But then donors will start asking for Silent Join too because they're important, after all, donors fund the servers. Sure mods and friends of admins are important but without map makers, there would be no maps to play on. I guess everything should just be left as it is.

No, because it'd just be another reason for people to want moderator for the perks, and for people to suck up to the Sr. Staff for ranks.

Like others have said, the concept is good, but I really don't think it would work as planned or as well as hoped.
