Usually, when I win a game or I just won a difficult fight I tend to say gg or gf. I mean it with good intentions (good game, good fight), but some people may take it negatively as get good or get f-ed. At some point, a player might go as far as reporting me or you, and obviously, we don't want this happen. In order to avoid this misunderstanding, I propose a new filter.
I know that a filter is definitely possible because of the swearing filter already put in place. Good game! could replace gg in chat and Good fight! for gf. While you're at it, you might as well filter eZ and rekt into Good fight! for a simple solution to an over dramatized problem. Quite frankly, I'm tired of seeing threads complaining about being "trash talked" because some people take a couple words in chat too seriously. I feel a filter would just stop all this nonsense, and it would be helpful for those who actually say gg or gf with the original intentions of the abbreviation.
If you're still skeptical idea, a similar idea was implemented in a different community (MCPVP's CTF) to make it easier for players. When someone said /gg, it said Good game! for both sides to see. I play on the server a lot, and from what I've seen, there's never been a problem with it. In the end, it's up to the staff on whether or not they want to solve this ridiculous problem that people honestly complain about too much.
