It's not the best idea, and Chad said the whole point of the voting system is to let people choose the map the want so this would be kind of useless. I think it's a waste of a server and would make it much to difficult to find a server for some people because they know that they have to avoid X servers.

Both are in the making, and I'm pretty sure there are some completed Desert themed maps.
They aren't being made by Vareide though, only normal players.
