I think it would be great to increase the block radius of the use of this command. I say this because a person that is only ten blocks away from you is kind of pointless. So if you can use that command anywhere in the map, it would make a lot more sense and would be of much better use.

The reason they have limited the command to 10 blocks is so that famous people (VIP's, Mods, YouTubers) don't receive spam messages.

Maybe if there was a /allow {player's name} command that only lets certain players message you, then this would be a great idea! :D

Well, another reason is so that you can't rely information cross-map. Though you can do this in Skype/TS/other things already, just not based off of the server. 10 blocks is for people you really trust who you aren't actually talking to.

/msg would induce a lot of abuse, as well. Think of how much harassment someone could give across a map, in private. Yeah, we don't want that.

Maybe increase the block radius to 20 or 30, but no, not too big.

/msg is like a whisper and thats why its only 10 blocks
