Adding to the "Survival" games, I think thirst would work. I've heard of a plugin(not a mod) where you have to right-click water once in a while, and your thirst meter is they xp meter (sice enchantments are not in the game anyway)

Maybe also heat where you have to be close to light giving items and blocks, maybe like torches, glowstone, lave or fire. It gives purpose to the flint and steel (so long as fire doesn't spread) and there is a text notification if you are too cold. You lose hearts if you are too cold.

If you have anymore survival ideas post below :D

I'm pretty sure there is an enchantment table on both maps, you just have to find it.

It's already hard enough to survive the first day with the hunger bar, a thirst and heat bar would make it way to difficult. The new players already have trouble not dying of starvation, having thirst bar would make it too difficult for them (especially on new map, main water source is small river). A heat bar would be way too difficult on map 2 with all the buildings where people go inside.
I just think this is too hard, and I think many people agree.

While that would be a nice feature, on the current maps it isn't difficult at all to find water. Might be something to add on specialized maps though.

So? Then they should practise :p

I think the thirst idea is funny,
but the heat thing is not neccesary.
