Stats reset next week could cause a massive problem?

So as I've been stalking MCGamer on twitter,
It has come to a few peoples attention that the new 'Micro-Transaction' stats reset could cause a lot of hassle because if someone purchases a Stats reset for example Gravey4rd He would get permanently reset away from the top position on the leaderboards. I may be acting naive here because this has probably been thought through by ChadTheDJ or the Devs of the server.

Anyone got any ideas or answers for my question?

I'm glad you raised this issue. I'm sure they have thought of this, but I guess we'll see.

There will most likely be a 2-step verification system which makes sure that the owner of the account is purchasing the stats reset .

The person buying the stat reset would need to give away a bit of personal info, via their name, to avoid these situations
