So When is this Map Contest?

I've been in contact with several Sr. Mods and Admins and the general consensus is, no one knows when the contest is going to begin.

I feel if I get more people aware of this, then maybe it will be an incentive for the staff to begin this contest.

Anyway, the reason I care so much is because I head off to college/university (whatever your particular country calls it) on August 15th. The problem with this is, assuming this contest will most likely last 1 month, is I have until July 14th for the announcement to be made or I will probably not be able to participate.

Anyway, I'm not asking for MCG to schedule this contest around me, I just want to know if/when this contest is happening???? I just want to be able to plan accordingly. I just figured if I made my situation public, then other people may get into this contest thing too and things can start happening.

Coming from a Staff POV, we know just as much as you do. We don't know when it will be, however it might be announced this coming staff meeting and something may be announced to the community. Do not take my word for it, because that's just only a possible prediction.

Trust me, I wanna know too. However, I think Chad will be announcing it when he's ready.
