Signature YouTube advertising?

Sup people of MCSG.

So I started doing YouTube more seriously recently, and wanted to advertise and get a bit bigger. So I thought what better way, than to put my YouTube channel in my forums signature, rather than just going in game and going "omg pls sub me on utube i rly nede subs ty".

So I tried to do it, and it simply just doesn't let me, so I was wondering if advertising this way is actually legal? If not, don't worry, I'm not going to try and find a way around it xD.

So anyways, thanks for your considerations.

You can post it in the media section your not allowed to put it in a signature.

That's what I thought, so I think I will do it, then if a staff member tells me otherwise then I will remove it immediately.

I don't see anything in the rules that says I can't do it.

You can post it in the media section your not allowed to put it in a signature.

This is kind of ironic, (not looking for a huge argument here, please don't start one) but you have a YouTube channel that doesn't contain MCSG in your banner, and mine does, so if you're allowed to advertise a channel that doesn't say anything good / bad about MCSG, surely I should be allowed to put one in that says good things about MCSG?

Anyways, I appreciate the feedback peoples!

You can advertise your channel IF you have MCSG content but if you Wanda advertise your vídeos out it On media section, Have a good day

You are allowed to advertise your YouTube Channel in your signature. I've never seen any staff say you can't, and I've talked to several staff members on the forums with my current signature.

I can confirm you're allowed to have a link to your youtube in your signature, so long as you post MCGamer related content!
