So, yes. Thank you for coming to this thread.

As the title obviously shows, my idea is for a report command.
This would be for people who either don't have TeamSpeak, cannot get it, don't use it, or just can't open/poke in time. And, of course, for the people who can but would rather do something easier, or also cannot record.
Not to mention - it would go out to all mods within the region!

Basically, if a player sees a rulebreaker, they can do /report in order to request a staff member to log onto the server.
/report - The base command
{Name} - The IGN of the person that is breaking the rules (Or suspected of doing so)
{Server} - The server the rulebreaker is in at the time of being reported.

All moderators would be able to see it, as long as they are within the region, such as US, EU, etc.

An optional command would be to do /reportdisable - or something similar - which would basically make it so that moderators can stop receiving reports for a time, such as if they're recording a video for YT.

Also, in order to stop too many moderators from going to observe a single rulebreaker, they might be able to do /reportanswer {Name} - or something similar - that will tell that there is already a moderator on the case. (Not sure how this would be implemented, depending on how much spam you are willing to give your mods :p)

In order to stop spammed messages: The options could be limited to a certain variety of rules to report, such as "ForceField" "Aimbot" "WaterWalks" "Spamming" as well as some others, and, of course, "Other". This could possibly be similar to the Sponsorship menu, except that instead of sponsoring someone an item you can call in a moderator! Also, I would prefer if this were to be accessible to both in-game players as well as spectators, for obvious reasons. Perhaps there could be a sword for "ForceField", a bucket of water for "Waterwalks", a regen pot or golden apple for "Regen/Timer", etc. (My only concern is that someone might manage to glitch it and get the item for themselves, not sure if that's a possibility or not.)
Once you reported someone for a certain type of hack, you can either not report them again or a series of related hacks are removed from the list. However, the menu would refresh for each separate player who is reporting someone, and also for each player that is being reported, in case you run across multiple hackers.
Example 1: You run into a hacker, and see he's using forcefield. You /report him, and then run away. You can then not report him again for the rest of the game.
Example 2: You run into a hacker, and see he's using forcefield. You /report him, and then run away. You can then not report him again for forcefield, aimbot, killaura, or any other melee-related hacks.

The /report command would give messages in-game, and perhaps also in some sort of control panel which could be possibly set up or something.

Open to feedback, not sure if this has been suggested before but additions welcome..!

This is how this would work: Some 8 year old died and is mad so they do /report HACKER US69 HACKING THEY KILLED ME SO BAN THEM
I do realize how much this would happen, so all I can say is that I think the caps filter would stop that :p, and also if someone spams the /report command then they can get in trouble themselves. (If it were to be implemented.)

Much work, such useless, much no.

Thats why if you don't have evidence, you can politely ask a moderator in the hub to keep an eye on that guy or ask someone in teamspeak.

And if you're ingame and don't have a friend you can call within 30 seconds?

Very good Idea apart from the fact of what people said above that is could be spammed and false reports would be sent in by people who got mad.

I like the idea but as previously mentioned, it would get abused a lot and would give the moderators a hard time.

Well thought out idea though. Perhaps with a few tweaks it might seem like a good feature to implement.

Alright, so I came up with a solution to stop spammed reports!

Please give feedback, I think this would be a possible way but perhaps you might not. Please give as much helpful feedback as possible, I think with the proper adjustments this could quite possibly be implemented - and honestly, I don't see how it could negatively affect MCSG.
