Hello. My name is xEllipse. I am a platinum donor on the MCGamer network and I am going to give you some PVP tips. Hope you enjoy them and if you do, please like this thread for more!
Swords:
A sword's sharpness makes it the best weapon to use during close range combat. A sword can be crafted from one stick plus two pieces of wood, cobble, iron, gold or diamonds. Diamond swords are most durable and will give the most damage, but diamonds are harder to find than some other gems in chests.
DURABILITY SWORD TABLE:
Wood: Durability 60, Damage 5
Stone: Durability 132, Damage 6
Iron: Durability 251, Damage 7
Gold: Durability 33, Damage 5
Diamond: [BEST] Durability 1562, Damage 8
BOW:
A fully charged bow can deal up to nine points of damage per hit. To charge the bow, hold down your right click button and wait for about 1 second. This will make the arrow go farther and give maximum damage. It takes 1 second to fully charge, which is very useful to battle people with better armor.
FLINT AND STEEL:
A super useful and handy tool that allows you to set your opponent on fore. Aim for the block under your opponent or the path he's going, and then you can set your opponent on fire and will be easier to take out him/her.
FISHING ROD:
This does no damage but gives knock back to your opponent. If used correctly, you can make good combos with this tool. This is very useful.
ARMOR:
Armor protects you from mobs, arrows, explosions, fire and lava, cactus, and other players of course.
Defense points table: [full set]
Leather: 3.5
Gold 5.5
Chain: 6
Iron 7.5
Diamond: 10
A defense point is equal to half a chest plate in your armor bar. The more defense points your armor has, the more damage it will absorb over its lifetime. For example, a full set of diamond armor protects you from 80% damage and iron protects you from 60%.
PRE BATTLE CHECKLIST:
Needed:
Sword
Food
One of three assisting weapons (bow, flint and steel, fishing rod)
Armor
OPTIONAL:
Gapple
Bow, Flint and steel, and fishing rod.
TEAMS:
Teams are pains, right? There is one thing that can help you when taking out teams. And for teams you must need all three assisting weapons, the bow, flint and steel, and fishing rod. FLINT AND STEEL IS VERY USEFUL FOR THIS SITUATION.
What to do: Run away, and try to set one of the players on fire with the flint and steel. Keep continuing and the players will get low and then you can start bow spamming them or going in.
TIP: Try to be quick!
Do's and dont's for teams.
Do play smart.
Do double check what they have.
Don't run in and try to take them on without using the flint and steel.
Don't play dumb.
BLOCK HITTING:
Block hitting is very useful for teams also. Block hitting is where you swing your sword and block at the same time. If you do it fast enough you can block half the damage from your opponent while giving the normal damage to the other opponent unless he/she's block hitting.
INVENTORY:
Here is my inventory style.
1st slot: Sword
2nd slot: Flint and steel
3rd slot: Fishing rod
4th slot: Bow
5th slot: Golden apple
6-8th slot: food
9th slot: arrows
You can mix it up if you need, whatever suits your needs is good.
If this helped, please like this thread. Goal: 50 likes xD
