Point issue?

I played 2 games today. Started with 271. Killed 2 people first game and 2 people 2nd game. Giving me a total of 20 points (5 per kill). And both times I was killed by someone with MORE points than i had i lost 7 points to both people. Leaving me with a total point earned with 6 points right? My score was 274... And I would like to know why i lost more than 5 points from people with more points then I had. I don't know if this was supposed to be fixed soon or not, but more info on this please

You lose 2.5% of your points each time you die, and the minimum amount you can lose is 5 points. Whether the one who kills has more points than you or not doesn't matter anymore.
