So, I recently bought Gold Rank about 2 weeks ago. I finally have the money to buy Diamond Rank! Even after typing in my exact username and everything, it still says i'm going to have to pay another 75$ for Diamond Rank instead of 50$. Is this right? I thought that if I payed 25$ now for one rank, that the next rank would cost less :/

No, it's the same price unfortunately. However you can give your gold donor rank to someone else but you will need to pay extra $5.

As Strikers said, those 25 bucks you paid for gold donor were used on gold donor. Your cumulative payments will not add up to diamond donor. Personally, if I were you, I would wait for the gold to wear off before buying diamond. :]
