outdated server?

when i try to join one of the servers on here it says outdated server or unknown host.

What version of minecraft are you using? Make sure it is 1.7

You get the "out-dated client" error when the version of minecraft you're running is too "old". I suggest going to your minecraft launcher, pressing "New Profile" and putting version 1.7.2 and up.
