As most of you know, whenever someone is being interviewed for a position on the staff team (ie: mod) they are interviewed on teamspeak. The problem is, while teamspeak is great for interviews, people in the interview room are constantly being poked by people saying "Good luck" or "Don't mess up!" This distracts the person being interviewed from the questions and it affects their answers. My idea is that when a player is moved into the interview room, they are given a rank. The rank makes it so that the person being interviewed isn't able to be poked or messaged.
Pros:
Pros:
- The interviewee doesn't get distracted from the questions and is able to give their most truthful answers.
- The interview goes on more smoothly because there are no interruptions. By that I mean when a person is poked their attention will probably go to the poke and their thoughts would be interrupted, thus making them pause mid-sentence, thus making the interview go less smoothly.
- It's not a very hard thing to do. All you have to do is make a new rank and assign it to a player when they enter the interview room.
- I can't really see anything bad about it at the moment. If you think you have a reason why this shouldn't be implemented, please make a comment and I will edit the thread and add your reason.
