Hi and this is my computer specifications. I wonder how good are they to you? I would get decent FPS and I always play on tiny render distance. This makes it hard to see further and I can see only a little only. When I'm fighting players, my FPS will drop quite a lot. For those of you that have computers that can give you 75+ FPS (playable for me) in any render distance that you want, good for you!

Computer Specifications

Manufacturer: HP Company
Processer: Intel® Core™ i3-2120 (3.30GHz)
Graphic Card: Intel® Standard Graphic Card
Installed Memory (RAM): 6 GB
System Type: 64 Bit Operating System
Hard Drive: 448 GB
Monitor: Samsung SyncMaster S20B300 21" (1600x900)
Headphones: SonicGear Loop IIIx

Minecraft Specifications

Graphics: Fast
Render Distance: 2 chunks
Smooth Lighting: Off
Performance: Unlimited
3D Anaglyph: Off
View Bobbing: Off/On
GUI Scale: Large
Brightness: Bright
Clouds: Off
Particles: Decreased
Use VSync: Off
Mipmap Levels: 4

For Minecraft 1.6.4 with Optifine HD C8

I play on Tiny Render Distance (2 chunks) with about: 50 to 250 FPS
I play on Short Render Distance (4 chunks) with about: 35 to 105 FPS
I play on Normal Render Distance (8 chunks) with about: 10 to 35 FPS
I play on Far Render Distance (16 chunks) with about: 0 to 10 FPS
I play on Extreme Render Distance (32 chunks) with about: 0 to 5 FPS

For Minecraft 1.7.4 without Optifine

I play on Tiny Render Distance (2 chunks) with about: 30 to 120 FPS
I play on Short Render Distance (4 chunks) with about: 25 to 55 FPS
I play on Normal Render Distance (8 chunks) with about: 5 to 20 FPS
I play on Far Render Distance (16 chunks) with about: 0 to 10 FPS

I can get better FPS from Optifine and Optifine has been 40% completed. I try to set the fastest possible settings to have optimal FPS. I cannot really upgrade my specifications. I just wanna know what you guys think about my specifications as compared to yours?

Here's mine for comparison:
Sapphire Radeon HD 6870 graphics card
Intel i5 3.3 Ghz
8 gb RAM

Also too lazy to write everything but I get about 800+ fps which varies depending on other programs/internet things.

Do you use VSync? it will cap your fps at your monitors refresh rate and usually gives better performance.

It does not and gives me lower FPS instead. And also, I find it harder to play wif dat
