My Avatar Won't Update Successfully!

Hey there.

This might seem like a really dumb question, but why is my avatar not updating correctly? I figured out how to totally clear it, then I try to just make it my MC avatar and it just goes back to my old avatar of my old skin, which I don't want.
And I try to add a custom avatar, my preferred option, it does the same thing, even after I check "Delete old avatar" or whatever
