Money Making

Money is useful in the survival server - whether it to stock up on a few ender pearls for a raid, to buy food to sustain scouting for bases, or for general items for particular things. More importantly they can be used for higher end items, diamond gear, monster spawners and buying items from other players. This guide is to show you efficient ways to earn an income to buy the things you need. :)

General Mining:
Efficiency: Medium
Description: Mining offers many resources to sell for money on the server, and it's fairly simple.
Pros: XP from ores, possibility to find bases and additional items.
Cons: Mobs and lava hazards if not careful.
Additional Boosts: Higher tier pickaxes, enchantments such as efficiency, unbreaking and fortune.

Iron - Quantity: 1; Sell: $15

Gold - Quantity: 1; Sell: $25

Diamond - Quantity: 1; Sell: $40

Lapis Lazuli - Quantity: 16; Sell: $15

Emerald - Quantity: 1; Sell: $125

Redstone - Quantity: 16; Sell: $20

Coal - Quantity: 16; Sell: $10

Tomb Raider:
Efficiency: Low-Medium
Description: Harvesting blocks from dungeons.
Pros: Possibility to find chests with items or even bases.
Cons: Mobs and the rarity of dungeons.
Additional Boosts: Higher tier pickaxes and enchantments such as efficiency and unbreaking.

Mossy Stone - Quantity: 8; Sell: $35

Woodcutting:
Efficiency: Low
Description: Cutting trees for wood and apples. The apples are excellent income but are rare, and wood is quite bad income but is sustainable and works well with the chance of apples.
Pros: Saplings, fairly safe work.
Cons: Low income.
Additional Boosts: Higher tier axes and enchantments such as efficiency and unbreaking.

Apple - Quantity: 8; Sell: $30

Wood - Quantity: 32; Sell: $40

Farming:
Efficiency: High-Very High
Description: Growing crops stated below.
Pros: Can be mass produced with low effort if worked upon.
Cons: Grow time and replacement.
Additional Boosts: Never run out of food.

Wheat - Quantity: 3; Sell: $12

Carrot - Quantity: 4; Sell: $14

General Nether:
Efficiency: Medium
Description: Farms and resources in the Nether. Farming Netherwart is a good sustainable income and Ghast tears are an excellent but inconsistent profit, so keep a bow on you.
Pros: Sustainable and stackable profit.
Cons: Traversing and living in the Nether is hard and dangerous.
Additional Boosts: Bow enchantments for ghasts.

Netherwart - Quantity: 4; Sell: $9

Ghast Tear - Quantity: 1; Sell: $30

Blazing Income:
Efficiency: Medium
Description: Harvesting for blaze rods after controlling a blaze spawner. Blaze rods split into two blaze powders when crafted alone.
Pros: Additional XP if harvested manually.
Cons: Very, very hard to capture a spawner if you happen to find one, and very low protection against griefing within the Nether.
Additional Boosts: Fire protection depending on how you set up the spawners to harvest them, and fortune is amazingly good.

Blaze Powder - Quantity: 2; Sell: $11

Sugar Rush:
Efficiency: High-Very High
Description: Crafting sugar from sugarcane which can be mass produced using pistons.
Pros: Stackable, is possible to 100% automate and quick selling.
Cons: Individual price is low, and building an efficient farm will take many resources.
Additional Boosts: Pistons/redstone for automation.

Sugar - Quantity: 16; Sell: $20

Mob Loot:
Efficiency: Medium-High
Description: Hunting or grinding mobs for their drops.
Pros: Automated for loot, and the possibility of additional XP if manual.
Cons: A lot of resources are required for efficiency.
Additional Boosts: Fortune, and protection/sharpness if hunting.

Enderpearl - Quantity: 8; Sell: $80

Arrow - Quantity: 16; Sell: $15
