Do mods have to be spectated by a Sr. mod if they're in a battle?

Yes, but only if it is a clan battle. A mod can be in a scrim without a Senior Moderator present.

If a mod is in a clan, Sr. Staff has to spectate. Also, mods cannot moderate while in a clan battle; they have to submit a report abuse. QA;TL

Adding onto this. Anything official must have a Sr. Mod present. Currently not all Sr. Mods are aware on how to deal with clan battles but I'm working on writing up a guide for the staff. The reason for this is due to the fact that people could call bias and we want minimal drama.
