Minimum Post Length (Possible XenForo add-on?)

Should there be a minimum limit to the length of posts?

I realize this is the Survival Games feature suggestion section, but I had no idea where else to put it.

I get that it's not really easy to change forum features, but there are forum add-ons. I'm hoping that someone made one similar to my idea, or that it can be made easily. I know how smart our Devs are :3 (Hopefully they just aren't too busy to remember us little forumers.)

My suggestion is to put a minimum requirement for something to be posted, such as 10 characters or 3 words. (Or something of the sort.)

Okay, I just did like 30 seconds of Googling, and found several of these plugins/add-ons.
This is just ONE of them: http://webflake.sx/files/file/1043-minimum-post-length/

Now the reason I'd like this to be implemented is to stop forum spamming. You all know of forum games and clan threads, right? Well, on clan threads there's tons of comments saying things like "GL" or "Cheerleader?", often just to get someone's post count up. On forum games, there's people who spam post after post after post, and they're often simply a few numbers, or one or two words.
Some examples of super high post counts that have been obtained largely through these methods:
(http://prntscr.com/33vcin) I'm not showing the names, but I'm sure you can easily guess who. (Oh, and by the way, I switched to Flexile Dark for this screenshot because my screen was too bright.)

Meanwhile, there's regular posters who can only dream of getting onto the top 20 posters list, as people who go around spamming forum games and clan threads are getting massive amounts of posts. (*Cough, cough* Me 2 months ago *Cough, cough*)

Please remember to respond to the poll up above, I made sure to include several choices :)

No, while it would seem like a good idea there are some things wrong with it. For one, as billy said, people will have a hard time playing forum games. If It's just a counting thread, you're usually just posting numbers; very succinct posts. Also, it won't stop spamming, because people could just add on some useless details to their posts (ex: gg extra space here).

I don't understand why we don't just make micro posting against the rules and not enforce it in those sections.

Tbh, I feel a better way to limit spam-posting is to have posts from forum games not count, like profile posts/messages don't count.

The guys who constantly post on the "Count to 50 Before a Staff Member Posts" are gonna have a fit when they see this thread.

I think that would be pretty useless, people would probably do it anyways.

I like this idea. We could get a legitimate estimation of how much people have posted :p Or at least maybe have a separate post count where Forum Games (and maybe clan section?) posts don't count.
