MINECRAFT SERVERS DOWN?

Hey.
I just tried to login to my Minecraft and it said "Sorry we couldn't couldn't connect you to our servers".Is it just me or have you got the same problem?

Mine says: "Failed to login: The authentication are currently down for maintenance.

Rumour has it that a certain AU player "ddosed Mojang", although I don't really believe it.
