Making MCSG 1.6(.4) compatible

Dear MCSG moderators, admins, owner, etc, etc.

I want to inform you all about my idea to make MCSG 1.6(.4) compatible. My computer has a really bad video card (NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti 4400), which has OpenGL 1.4. As we all know, Minecraft needs support for OpenGL 2.1+ since 1.7. I would highly appreciate it if you guys will listen to me. I am speaking for a lot of people who can't join because of the same problem. Thank you for reading.

I'm sorry, but I don't think it's possible to have 1.6 and 1.7 compatibility and keep performance and features running smooth. I doubt they'll change it for a rather small group that are having problems.

They changed it to be able to play only on 1.7 because that would benefit the 96% that used 1.7 . Sorry majority rule.

Im afraid that i doubt that this would happen. Although then the hunger would be back c;

the reason why the server was fully updated, was to fix some MCSG problems. And that meant updating some of the plugins which, sadly required for 1.6 to be dropped.

As the others said, it would be impossible to downgrade the servers again after all the updates that have come on MCG, unless you obviously want bugs / glitches to come back. Here's a little tip, buy a new video card? Heck, buy a new computer.
