Loosing Points

Can someone please tell me why you loose so muvh points when your higher rank?

Since your ranking has gone so high it has set an average to wat you achieve in an average match. so everytime you die that will drop however low or high in points that your average is

i lose 50 points every time i die and i have 800 points.

The point system seems a bit stupid with losing 50 points.
10 points it should be nerfed to.
