Lag issues

So every time I log into MCgamer, I lag like crazy, The lobbies won't load and stuff. When I'm playing on other servers however I have no lag. On my Server Menu I see that I have 100 Ping, which is descent. When I log in though, it feels more like 1000 Ping. I don't know if it is just me or the server

The Developers are aware of this issue. I'm pretty sure they have it on their list!
