This is basically the only sure under the sun where "necroposting" isn't allowed. Most everywhere it's called bumping and is completely fine to do occasionally, what does the staff team here have against it? Just something I've always wondered I mean it's a bit of an odd rule isn't it?

A necro is when a thread is replied to when it hasn't had a reply for over 30 days. You are allowed to bump your thread every 24 hours to keep it active. Posts in the art section cannot be locked for necro. The reason we don't like it because it brings back up forums threads that have already been discussed, and people get upset getting the notification.
