Why not make the map useful like when you are using the map there's a green dot, that's you. And the other plays who are alive are red dots so you can find out where they are .

I disagree with this, although it is annoying looking for someone in a 1000x1000 area, wouldnt it kill the survival aspect? It would almost be like cheating if someone got hold of one. Just sayin'

well that is kind of already in the game but it only works if the other person has a map then it shows them as the same color symbol.

I am indifferent to the suggestion.



Regarding the map, it works on the Original(forest) map and anyone who has held a map before, it will show their location and of course your location is designated by a white arrow just like other people.
