Improved Disguising Suggestion

Hello,

As you can see I'm a platinum donor on this server and I get targeted sometimes on MCSG, Now I know there is a /disguise command but to be honest the names they have on there are really obvious and it kind of defeats the purpose of disguising all together.

Here are some examples of obvious disguise names I got today:
xxPartner
mrssoftware
EggWeekend
xxessay
xxrelevant02xx
and MountainPool

So my suggestion is that they add less obvious disguise names to the server, sometimes I get less obvious names like MrOZDH97 etc, But that was just by spamming /ud then /d but by then people around me have already seen what my real name is therefore there's no point.

If we change it people are just going to keep on making threads like this unfortunately. With every change people adapt to it, they know what sort of names they need to look out for, etc, it's practically inevitable.

Usually just disguise and be happy with the name you get, more people will notice you changing your name to find a different one than staying the same.

I think the developers are working on a new disguise system which is nearly impossible to find out who's disguised

This has already happened twice. First, if you don't remember, disguising was only a feature for the staff to disguise yourself as a random rank below you from member to VIP. Then it was added for diamond donors and above, that gave you a name with two 'words' and two numbers at the end such as 'randomperson15'. As these were way too obvious, the development team pumped it up a little more to add some 'xX_', numbers in the middle of the name, and capital letters. Finally, after even further complaint and discussion, the newer and even less unpredictable names were added like "xxTeam", "YoloSomething", "ProSomething", and then the MrMDIGj1931, and the two word combinations like MountainPool as mentioned below. If you are unhappy with your disguise name, feel free to /ud to undisguise and try again to get a slightly less predictable name!

Hope this helped! Sadly I don't think a revamp of the names will be added because of the fact that they have already been revamped quite a few times. Disguising will never make you truly anonymous and targeting as a regular donor isn't too big of a problem. What some people classify as "targeting because I'm a donor" may really just be someone who wants your gear. Yes, donor-related targeting may be somewhat of a problem, but I think it's less than people may realize. Try being a mod.. Oh boy..
