Grace Period

I am thinking for the people that suck at MCSG (like me) there could be a 15-45 sec grace period that would allow the players to scram before being killed immediately, also you could make them look like they have some sort of potion effect during the grace period so it looks better.

Adding a Grace Period would take out so much fun and reality that the games have, it would just be sad.

Okay, to start off, the point of the cornucopia is to bring in players who want stuff for a risk at death. Adding a Grace Period would take out every last bit of thrill you'd get running there, and it won't help with people murdering each other, since some people are just determined enough to chase you until they get their precious stuff.

Adding a Grace Period takes away that "Hunger Games" feel, I mean, if you've ever read the books or watched the movie, 12 or 13 people die straight away... Which is just overkill. I mean, how often do you ever get killed at the cornucopia? I'll get killed one out of twenty times, and if you keep dying over and over again, you're doing something wrong. Maybe like punching a person who's armed with a weapon, or you're just very unlucky.

Grace Periods have been suggested quite often, and I'm pretty sure the idea gets shot down every time, just to let you know. I don't really like the idea of Grace Periods, and neither does the majority of the community.

I wouldnt want a grace period since if i get a sword out of the chest i want to kill as many people as i can for tier 2 lootz.

It's under the no no suggestions, so it will probably never be added. But sponsors were there too but they got added (why???)

This was implemented in the old plugin, but I see no reason for this unless we add in 120 player servers (or anything over 48 players). I mean, after all, we do have 48-player servers right now...right?

When it had 120 players it didn't need grace anyway because everyone started far apart at the dome :3
