Forums glitch?

Hello, I've been having this thing with the forums, I don't know if it is a glitch or not, but when I click someone's profile picture on a thread, sometimes it comes up with the.... err I can't explain it, basically this:

And other times it just brings me to their profile, I don't know if this is the new forums update or if it is just a bug

It's generally supposed to show you that little popup thing. Do you get both results by clicking the same place? I know that on some places it'll send you to their profile directly, and other times it'll give you the popup. Also, in what way are you clicking it? Trying to open it in a new tab, or just left-clicking?

Occasionally I open it in a new tab. This is also happening when I click on my alerts, Inboxes and when a Profile post is too long and I click 'View Previous comments...' and it brings me to another page

I think that might be part of a glitch that I've been noticing, where clicking something has two possible outcomes. For example, clicking "comment" on a status sometimes leads me to a page where the only thing on it is a box where I can type a message and post it, rather than just creating a small area at the bottom like it usually does.

My best guess is that it sometimes accidentally uses the mobile page rather than the PC page.

Hey there!

What Mooclan said is right- there is currently a glitch where clicking things that usually bring up pop-ups might take you to an entirely different page.

For example (like Mooclan beat me to mentioning ) clicking like will either like the post, or bring you to a sub-forum which asks "are you sure you want to like this post?" and has you click the like button again.

I think that this bug in a result of the forums upgrade, and changes being recently made.

I'll bring this up in the staff chat, though I do believe it is a known 'bug'.
