Extra Line on Victory Message

Upon the end of game, the victory message should read "[Username] has won the Survival Games with X.X hearts left."

I understand why the following would be abused and O.P.:

- spectators being able to view hearts
- death notices in chat saying how many hearts their kiler had left

This. Is. NOT. That.

I am merely asking, no, begging, for MCGamer to implement one message upon the last kill of a game to display how many hearts that user won the game with. It is absolutely fair, cannot be abused, and there is no reason for this to not be added.

This compensates for the second place person being unable to ask the person who killed them "how many hearts?" Plus, even if you ask that person when it goes to lobby, they usually don't respond or snarkily respond with "10 hearts gg nub" or the like. This frustrates me SO much and it would help my sanity if you added one tiny little line to the victory message saying how many hearts the victor had.

PLEASE MCGAMER I BEG OF THEE! *kneels and prays* :(

As much as I like the idea, this would probably increase the number of hacking accusations as people squabble over how many hearts you 'should' have had left. Still, I'd love to see this put in. Doesn't seem to difficult to code either (then again, I'm an amateur at Java, and I've never worked with Bukkit, so...).

This. I see people arguing about "how did you not die I hit you 'x' number of times..." lots. This would probably prolong that, but it would still nonetheless be a nice and simple feature to have implemented.

I honestly don't see anything wrong with it, lets do it!

(Quick question, trying to improve my English: Would the word "lets" have an apostrophe? Like, is it supposed to be written "Let's" as a contraction of "let us"?)

Yes, indeed it would have an apostrophe. Because it means "let us", a combination of two words, so yes, it's "Let's".

This would actually also help to alleviate those arguments. It would add a sense of closure to that game in particular. And, even if someone is suspected of hacking, perhaps spectators who call hacks will see that someone had 0.5-3 hearts remaining and not call hacks on said person in the following lobby (provided they aren't actually hacking).

As to how it might affect the onlookers who see people finish games with high hearts, I think the majority of the player base will just pass off most of that as just "wow he/she/it's actually kind of good!"

Great idea! Will make catching regen hackers easier too.
I didn't think about that actually o_O

But it would only help to a certain extent. The server would simply take the winner's remaining health count, scan it, then post that static number in chat. Isn't what you're thinking of what the Nexus spectators have? That's different than what I'm suggesting. Being able to view live health updates like they do as a spectator is very overpowered for Skype teams.

Still, I can see how my idea can - indeed - help a moderator's discretionary process if they're watching a deathmatch fight clip in Report Abuse. :)
