Do mods need proofs to ban people?

For example, if i kill a mod and he gets angry (for example because he have just recorded how he killed a team of 6 and then i arrive and kill him) can he ban me?
Does he need a proff?

Because if then i do a ban request and there are no proofs but what that mod says...

He/she would have to be recording yes. If they thought you were hacking and weren't recording, then they would follow you into your next game and record for proof.

Ok, so even they are moderators they can't ban me without a proof

We can ban up to a day without proof, but adding evidence to your ban is always recommended. We don't simply ban people because we get mad at them. If a Mod ever does this then you can report him. Locking this thread since your question was answered, have a nice day!
