Can't take screenshots when opening chat or inventory.

I'm having a problem. I found this person I should report for spamming, and I couldn't get to his spams right away because I was busy. When I got back, I tried to report them, but I had to find it in my chat bar. I had to close afterward, to see that my screenshot wasn't although I clearly press F2.

Another time, I discovered this bug here, and needed to open my inventory just so I could give proof when I was sending the e-mail explaining the bug, but the result was the same as the previous, and it didn't save the screenshot.

This has happened for over a month, and I can't figure out what to do. Anything helpful you can tell me?

I have the same issue, so I just use fraps to take a screenshot if I need to.

Edit: You can use PrintScreen as well if you don't have fraps.

It's a thing with 1.7.

I would recommend using puush to take screenshots- it's free, very convenient, all you do is press the hotkeys (different ones for an area you select with your mouse, the current window, or the whole screen) and it makes it into a link which you can paste, ie. directly into the report abuse.

Alternatively you can use the printscreen button, and just crtl+v it straight into imgur.
