Can't Connect to Server

Can anyone help me please? I have tried to play MCSG for the last several days and can't get on. I keep getting a error message saying:
"Failed to connect to server.
[MCGamer Network]
Please join us on Minecraft 1.7.10/1.8/1.9
Served by MCG Proxy M28"
I have tried and tried to restart/reinstall my game, computer and wifi, nothing works. I am also seeing on the server list something about a bungee cord? I'm new here lol. It was working fine a few days ago and just quit.

Ok figured out. I was playing on the newest update. I switched to 1.8.2 and it's now working. Don't know if this will help someone else or not.
