Can I stop emails?

Whenever someone replys to a thread I get emails, I'm trying to become active but my email is getting so spammed! Can I make it so I don't get email replys?

Hover over your forum name on the forums, and click on "Preferences"
Then you should see a variety of tick boxes regarding how you see alerts. Deselect anything that says "And receive emails..."
