The name says it all, The steps would go something like this:

1. Identify that you're feeling generous.
2. Type /sponsor (koolkid4mooncreft)
3. Choose your item
4. The chat asks if you would like to send a note
5. If you'd like to send a note, do /sponsornote confirm
7. The game would ask you to choose from a number of numbered phrases.
8. After choosing your phrase, do /sponsornote (Number of phrase)
9. If you don't want to send a note, do /sponsorconfirm
10. If you did send a note, you do /sponsorconfirm to send it with their note.
11. The player receives their item. It comes with the item, along with a book saying the note.

Possible Phrases:
- GG
- Here's some stuff
- Team next round?
- <3
- I love you.
(I'm sure you guys can think of some more, I can't atm)

What do you guys think?
An alternative would be the name the item, the note that is sent.

This has been suugested before and the main reason that it doesn't gets implented is because you can use it to :
  • Give away player locations
  • Abuse people after you've been killed by them

If I may ask, How does it give away player locations? I understand that it can be abused, but wouldn't it be fixed by a certain ammount of chars? Or maybe they can make it so that a certain set of phrases can be selected from

Persons who make the sponsornote can give away player locations*
For example "Last person is at the casino"
Making a filter fot this would be nearly impossible as people would just "Last per.s0n is @ c4s1no"

Most people play with friends on their microphone right, so then they tell each other where enemies are. If that's allowed then I'm sure this will cause no harm. Plus if you make the note a certain character length they won't really be able to explain the location. :p

Thanks for clearing that up, I feel like it would be wayyy better if they made a set of phrases to choose from?

Yea, they might be. But we don't want to support it in our system itself to be able to give away a player location.

That's a great idea, I feel like that it would make the sponsoring system a bit more personal.
