Spectators are a major problem inside the final death match! They block arrows and if their close enough they rebound off of them and hit you instead! How is that fair! This needs to be changed ASAP in my opinion. It is impossible to have a fair fight while the game is still like this. Please fix this. Comment with Opinions Ideas or just to bump this Post so they fix it!

Thanks guys!

Yeah this truly needs to be fixed. maybe put an area where spectators can wait an watch the game or fix the issue all together.

yea like the before deathmatch at a arena where sand was falling specs couldnt get there wich was good so they should put a forcefield around the spawn so they cant do things block arrows etc.

Agreed. While deathmatch commences, spectators should be kept away. I really hate it when i hit myself with arrows.

I hate not having a good view of the fight. Maybe like a small dome-force field forms around the cornucopia when the deathmatch starts. Sound good?

A dome takes to much fancy programming to initiate. A force field is much easier especially since they have one in the recycling bin from their old death match arena. If you don't have a good view just fly up higher around the edge. But spectators are a big problem. Inside and outside the arena. Hopefully 1.4 helps change all these bugs but for now I would idealy like specs out of the arena where the problem is the worst. There's just more specs there and maliciously interfering with the combat for their own pleasure.

Chad is working on the old (falling sand and lava) deathmatch lIke before 1.3. We will probably get it soon so the tributes can fight and the spectators just watch

We should force the spectators around eight blocks over the ground (like how it forced players out in the sand arena) so they get an overview of the death match, yet they don't get in the way of entities.

Uh, I'm sure setting it so that a dome surrounds the cornucopias when deathmatch starts wouldn't exactly be hard..
