Standing next to a teammate during spawn

If you are playing with a friend or you find a teammate in the lobby you should be able to stand next to them at corn. I used to think that you had to be next to them in the lobby for you to team, but that is not the case.

Right now, the server has no way of recognizing teams. With that being the case, it can't put teams next to each other.

District numbers and placement are either based on the order of players joining the game, or they're randomized. I dunno, but it's those one of those two.

I guess being able to pick District numbers could work. It'd be unnecessary but you could do /district # to pick a district.

It makes getting that District 12 Victor achievement easier to win.

Wouldn't standing next to them at corn be pretty useless. You'll end up going for the same chest 99% of the time which means less loot.

Can't you just have a designated meeting point, or spot each other and decide which one to follow. Also if you're in Skype or TS with them, this does not matter much at all.

I think this would be a waste of time to implement because...

1. The servers have no way of detecting teams
2. It doesn't matter where you spawn, as someone said before, you'll probably end up going to the same chest

I actually prefer to not spawn next to my teammate/teammates. If we all are rushing corn, one of us usually have to go for a chest that is not in the optimal spot from our podiums (we dont want to loot the same chest) However if we spawn on the opposite side of eachother we can both run for the closest chest.
