How many FPS do you get?

When i first read read this thread i was like "can there be more than 120 fps?"

i get 40fps on normal with optifine,
but I'm getting new computer which will be better than my current one. If you want to search my current, it's Lenovo T61p. My new will be either an Asus laptop(these are the basic specs, not sure about the others):
Core i7
8GB RAM
nVidia graphics
18,4 screen

or building my own

Mines probably with optifine and OCD texture pack and every setting off and extra ram allocated like 30ish average max at like 50 or so
In buildings it will often be <10

You guys do know the human eye cant detect the difference in anything above 40-50 FPS... a 4000 FPS and a 60 FPS screen are exactly the same to us
