Reset LeaderBoards

Hello all,
I remember when MCSGv2 was about to come out, that there was rumor that the leaderboards would reset. I don't know why they didn't reset the leaderboards, but I wanted the leaderboards to reset. So if it's at all possible, I would like the leaderboards to reset.

I really want this to happen since some people have no chance to climb the leaderboards since the bar has been set so high.

I'm preparing for the worst If they do reset i know that i've done average 35 wins a day the past week and have unlimited time to play for another 3 months.

They won't be resetting the leaderboards, but there will be the next best thing (or in my opinion better) sometime soon hopefully.
The developers are currently working on the leaderboards so that there are weekly (I think), monthly (definitely) and yearly (I think too) leaderboards that will probably reset themselves at the end of the month which gives everyone a chance to get up high in the leaderboards.

I don't think they should reset the leaderboards because some people worked very hard for their current spot and would be upset if they're stats were reset. On the other hand, I do believe that their should be a monthly leaderboard so we can have something to work towards because I don't know about you, but I'm not getting to 1900 wins anytime soon.

Some people have dedicated a lot of time and have a sufficient and talented amount of skill that they have used efficiently to get to the top of the leaderboard; resetting that would destroy the rank that they have built up for themselves. A better idea would be to create a monthly and/or weekly leaderboard to see who's getting lots of wins during that period but to keep the overall leaderboard.

May I ask why you want the leaderboards to reset? You haven't really stated a specific reason >:

They could let the leaderbord as it is. But also add a monthly one. So you can fight for month top #1 or the best MCSGer in the world. Ik, thats hard to code... but I believe in forairn, subv3rsion and the whole team! <3

They need some sort of legacy leaderboards that has the grand total but less competitive, keeping the stats and adding them in the background whilst doing the weekly, monthly etc.

Oh god please no. Yeah that sentence made no sense, but if there were a reset I would buy an alt and stop playing on this account.
