Term 'Donate' Used Incorrectly in Minecraft

Many server have links to where you can 'donate' to the server. I understand that this keeps the servers up and running, but most people aren't really donating. Since they are receiving benefit from the money they give to the server, they are actually buying 'donator' or 'donor' status. Since donating is giving something without getting something in return, most of the time, people aren't actually true donors, they are really only purchasing their status.

Just thought I would clear that up.

They are donating to help the servers, and to show our gratitude we are giving them the gift of donor perks.

Just how I like to think about it, though your way is valid, I guess.

Perhaps put this in feature suggestions KRaidium seeing as we could turn this into a suggestion for new rank names?
Like there could be Narwhal, Narwhal+, etc.

I can easily tell you that there will not be new rank names, but I have moved it to Feature Suggestions anyhow.
