Ban for hacking to be longer

Hey guys,
today there have been a lot of hackers on the servers and even one that have already been banned twice! His name is dudezzzzz... He is using some hacks like forcefield and speedhack but I'm not here to talk just about him.

I would like MCSG staff to make the bans for hacking to be longer, I mean people get banned only for 1 week, that is not enough . They should get banned for at least 1 month for a serious hacking.

Please give you opinions and don't hate.

I support this, I am really disappointed when I see a person who was previously banned for hacking back on the servers.

I agree. There was one guy with aim bot and forcefield whom I reported and I saw him on the servers a week later!
He did get banned btw

I think that the MCSG staff know what they are doing. They have a reason for the limits on bans

The week limit gives players a chance to look over their mistakes and decide if they want to play legit or keep hacking and risk another ban. Making the ban a month could make some people's bans unjust.

Staff members temp ban first to give the opportunity to players to quit their hacking ways. If it was a straight on ban, it would be rather out-of-the-blue, and it could be false.

I'm half/half on this, although after soggies post, I'm leaning towards no.

I think that it should be two weeks. Or a month. Not overkill though. Like three months.

The thing is, they may only get banned for one week, but if they are caught hacking again, they are permanently banned. Two trikes and you're out. Now, for anyone who is supposed to be perma banned and are not, it could be because the moderator that banned them didn't remember to check for past offenses to see that their ban should be permanent. I guess this is something we'll have to work on

There's something called a chance. 1 week ban.
And when the chance is broken, you have permanent bans.
On Project Ares, they have
1. Warning
2. Kick
3. 7 day ban
4. Perm ban

Up to you as some guies stehp hacking after the week ban.
