[Sticky] NO SPONSOR SUGGESTIONS

How clear does the MCSG staff have to make this.

SPONSORS WILL NOT BE IMPLEMENTED!!!!!!!!


Why?


It makes the game too unfair, since a person can just tell his friends to sponsor him with very good stuff, and he will win the game.

Also, the sponsor system would probably have many bugs, since it is hard to implement and can be abused and taken advantage of in many ways.

Finally, I have played on servers with these sponsor plugins, and believe me, it makes the game so much less fun. It takes the whole survival feel out of the game.

There are some perfectly fair sponsor suggestions, like mine that I suggested MONTHS ago. Everyone liked it and few disliked it. It was well thought out, and fair. I think that's the only one I've seen that could possibly be implemented.

While necro, I've been looking at stuff like this recently. It's funny, they say they will never add this because it can be abused, and what do you know, they just go add it in MCSGv2. I just have one question: Why???

Kicks? I really don't know. It seems so out of the blue that they would add this even though mods reply to threads saying this won't be added and sponsoring is the first point in the "No No suggestions page". It just baffles me to add this even though most of the community is against the idea.
